He graduated from the Finance and Statistics Department in the Central School of Planning and Statistics in Warsaw (currently the Warsaw School of Economics). Between 1985 and 1989 he was employed in Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo [Polish Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Company] Since 1990 he has been working in advisory and financial institutions. In this period he implemented and directly managed the implementation of numerous restructuring and privatization projects, mergers and acquisitions as well as projects related to funds raising on the public and non-public market. Between 1990 and 1992 as Financial Consultant he cooperated with Polish advisory companies (mainly Towarzystwo Konsultantów i Doradców [Consultants and Advisors Company] and PROFIT Sp. z o.o.). From 1993 to 1995 he worked for Business Management & Finance S.A. as Project Manager. Since 1995 he has been associated with the GDAŃSKI BIG Bank Group. Between 1995 and 2000 he held the position of Vicepresident of BIG Finance Sp. z o.o. – an entity specialized in corporate finance services. At the same time, from 1997 to April 2002 he was the Management Board Member of BIG-BG S.A. Brokerage House initially in charge of planning and finance, but from 2000, he supervised the provision of brokerage and corporate finance services for institutional clients and asset management. Since 2001 he has been holding the position of President of the Investment Company’s Management Board.
A graduate of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of Kielce University of Technology. In 1994 he obtained a stock broker licence and in 1999 - an investment advisor licence (licence no. 144).
From May 1995 he was employed in the Brokerage Office of BGŻ S.A. on the positions of Securities Broker, Analyst and Investment Advisor. From 1997 he managed the Brokerage Office's own assets and from 1999 - customer portfolios in the Portfolio Management Division of BM BGŻ S.A. where he also held the position of the Division Head.
From November 2002 to December 2004 he worked in the Asset Management Department of Millennium Dom Maklerski S.A. [Millennium Brokerage House]
Since May 2003 he has been holding the position of President of the Millennium Brokerage House Management Board. The responsibilities of Mr. Mariusz Dąbkowski at Millennium Brokerage House do not compete with operations of the Investment Company and the Fund.
